‘Dead Cells’ Sales Top Two Million, “Rise of The Giant” DLC Now Available on PS4, Switch
It took a while, but Motion Twin’s Metroidvania Dead Cells has hit the lofty two million mark in sales. In celebration, Motion Twin also announced that the game will have a 20 percent discount on the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store.
On top of all of that, the free DLC “Rise of The Giant”, which first hit the PC in late March, is now available on the Switch and PlayStation 4, with the Xbox One version heading there “soon”.
On top of the new tweaks and fixes, the DLC includes new enemy types and weapons, three new skills, new goodies for you to buy in the new Specialist shop, as well as a new hidden level for those hungry for more difficulty.
Dead Cells first launched for PC via Steam Early Access in May 2017, before its full release across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in August 2018.
